Continue to Mù Cang Chải, where the terraced fields cascade like golden staircases along the mountainsides. Don’t miss iconic spots like La Pán Tẩn, Chế Cu Nha, and Dế Xu Phình, where the beauty of the terraces is most striking. The terraced fields with an area of about 330 hectares are the pride of the local people, and also the most attractive tourist destination in Mu Cang Chai. Each terraced field winding and stretching across this land has created the most vivid pictures that captivate many tourists from near and far. It can be said that the terraced fields are a unique work of art created by the hands of the Mong people here. Especially when traveling to Mu Cang Chai in the summer, we will admire the green young rice fields. And when coming in the fall, the ripe rice fields turn bright yellow. The terraced fields were born from the harmonious crystallization of the creativity of ethnic minorities and have become a unique cultural feature of this place.
This is an extremely famous tourist destination in Mu Cang Chai, impressing many young people who love backpacking with the most majestic winding mountain pass in Vietnam. To get here, from the center of Yen Bai, let's go in the opposite direction of National Highway 32 for about 5 hours, through Tu Le commune, we will reach Khau Pha Pass with its overlapping mountain ranges. From the pass, visitors can admire the majestic scenery on both sides, with the ripe rice fields of the Thai and Mong people and capture many beautiful images
This Mu Cang Chai tourist destination is located on Highway 32, close to Khau Pha Pass, in Van Chan District of Yen Bai Province. When mentioning Tu Le, we will remember the fragrant aroma of ripe rice, where every tourist always stops to enjoy the delicious sticky rice of the Thai ethnic group.
Lim Mong village is hidden in the mysterious clouds all year round. In Yen Bai, there are many Mong ethnic villages separated by mountains and undulating at the foot of immense green valleys. However, Lim Mong is more special and is called by backpackers as "the four great dangerous places". Visitors coming here can learn about the life and customs of the ethnic people in the highlands here, besides, you can also enjoy the specialties of Mu Cang Chai.
Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!
Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
